Bronze Sculpture
Bronze sculptures cast from original works, carrying forward gesture, weight, and permanence.
Process
There is a perfect moment when a sculpture is complete and I can embrace the richness of wet red clay. This stage translates visually into bronze with ease. At this point, I may decide to recreate the form in bronze. The unfettered, sensuous line of the piece begins to sing and, perhaps, rise into dance.
In that moment, I know the form has roots and wings—and that it can endure beyond time.
